TWTC list of walks for Cowal Fest 2009 is complete, including 2 torchlit shakespearian walks and two Brand new childrens walks ‘The Celtic Tree Walk’. As ever we are delighetd to be supported by local landowners who are allowing us access to their wonderful gardens…. Dunans Castle, Strachur House and Caol Ruradh in Colintraive.
and we are ready for the off. Our first Haunted murrrrder is tonight at the Argyll Hotel in Dunoon. Ms Nancy Boyz is polishing her crystal ball and Little Lucy Fur is having her legs waxed. Its all go for the team. Thank goodness tonight is not all full moon … as tonight the dead will not be unseen or unheard.
We are in pre-production for a brand new murder mystery ‘the haunted hotel’. This weekend play will be premiered at the Argyll Hotel in Dunoon who to compliment the spooky goings on are laying on the services of International Clairvoyant Carol Stirling and a paranormal investigator to test the hotels ‘activity’. Things will most certainly bump in the night.
72 walkers hiked around the hills above Ardentiny beach on Easter Monday as TWTC lead them on a merry frolic. The white rabbit led a party of rabbits, princesses, pirates, Easter chicks and even a small black sheep on a splendid walk ending in a tug o’war over a burn. Fortunately no one got too wet and all managed to keep their heads as the Red Queen conducted the proceedings. Sponsored by the Forestry Commission. A truly great day.
A magnificent Easter Sunday in the Duke & Duchess of Argylls private garden saw the white rabbit leading a party of over 60 intrepid walkers on a wild Easter egg hunt. The hatter was as ever quite mad and the Red Queen really wanted a cup of tea. Thank goodness the Tearoom at the castle was open. Blazing sunshine and glorious views.
