The Award Winning Walking Theatre Company is based in rural Argyll and is proud to say, has performed 1000′s of shows, in 100′s of venues: Our well established and unique methodolgy, explores interactive theatre through the landscape, from forest to garden, and even school playground.  A working company of 20 professional actors the group produces acclaimed work all over Scotland. Our unique brand of interactive ‘walking’ theatre takes the audience on a journey not only through the drama but through a wealth of dramatic and dynamic landscapes and narratives.

quality low-budget theatre is growing. We travel light, quite literally carrying our props in a rucksack as we lead an audience on their journey through the drama. We create bespoke work for any event and group, company or community, from country fair to corporate event.  With a growing repertoire of 20 interactive plays ranging from Shakespearian adaptations, children’s plays, hosted murder mysteries to dramatic historical romps, The Walking Theatre Company will bring a buzz to any event, creating interactive outdoor theatre especially for you.

You can also commission a winning play of your own for any event. From a short play-let to a full length production, our company writer, Sadie Dixon-Spain, will create bespoke work especially for your individual needs.
