Ruth Tapp

Ruth is originally from North Ayrshire. She trained at Drama Studio London and graduated in 2006.
Her theatre credits include ‘Peggy Macroon’ in Whisky Galore for NTC, ‘Mrs Cratchit’ in ‘A Christmas Carol’ at The Greenwich Playhouse and  ’Petya’ in ‘Petya’s Story’ which premiered in Holland before moving to The Rosemary Branch Theatre in London. Recent television credits include ‘How Not To Live Your Life’ for the BBC.
Ruth’s Walking Theatre productions have included ‘The Whisky Way’, ‘The Bluebell Trial’, ‘The Celtic Tree Walk’ and ‘The Hidden Jewel’. She really enjoys performing in The WTC’s unique open air style and particualy likes jumping out from behind large trees!!! She is however, not quite so fond of The Highland Midge….
