Statement of Policy

The Walking Theatre Company is committed to the principle
of equality of provision, access and benefit in the delivery of the service irrespective of race, colour, nationality or ethnic or national origins, religion, sex, sexuality, marital status, disability or age. Our policy is aligned and guided by the Race Relations Act 1976, Sex Discrimination Act 1975 and the Disabled Persons Acts 1944 and 1958

This policy applies to membership, election, recruitment, selection, promotion, training, benefits, facilities, procedures. and the terms and conditions of any interaction within our group and beyond to our audiences, bodies and the communities we engage with. We promote good practice and provide equal opportunities for participation by all sections of the community and material is designed to promote equality and eliminate discrimination. The committee will regularly review their effectiveness.
