We’ve got another Festive Announcement to make!

The Walking Theatre Company are delighted to be returning to the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in London for this years ‘CHRISTMAS AT KEW’ event!

We are delighted to be working once again with Culture Creative, and to have another bespoke, site-specific commission created by our Creative Director and playwright, Sadie Dixon-Spain.

And with a new production, we need a new cast! We are delighted to welcome a few familiar faces back to #ChristmasAtKew this year, as well as introducing new cast members to the wonderful world of Walking Theatre!

The Walking Theatre Company is delighted to be performing at the stunning Blenheim Palace this Festive Season, for the 2016 #ChristmasAtBlenheim event!

The estate will be illuminated for an unforgettable after dark festive trail along winding paths, beside tranquil waters and through extraordinary Parkland. A spectacular site-specific Christmas production has been created by TWTC’s very own Sadie Dixon-Spain, and we are thrilled to once again be working with our fantastic friends at Culture Creature.

With rehearsals well underway, we would like to introduce you to our first ever Christmas at Blenheim Cast! We are delighted to welcome Alexandra Ford, Owen Frost, Gavin Moore, and Bethany Goodman to team TWTC – and what a elf-tacular bunch they are!

One More Fright Night!

The last night of our spooky Autumn tour, Saturday 12th November with the Haunted Hotel Crew, scaring up a storm at Fishers Hotel Pitlochry with Sarah-Beth Brown, Dougie Walker, Trish Mullen and Alfie Wellcoat.

It has been an amazing few weeks for The Walking Theatre Company we have truly been spooky all over Scotland, from the Highlands to the lowlands and our talented teams have done us proud. A big shout out to the talent of#scottishactors and writers and the production crew, who all make our creative industry so powerful. Next stop, Christmas!

Tonight in Raasay…

The Murderous Walking Theatre Company crew are kickstarting this weekend on the beautiful island of Raasay, for a HIGHLAND WEDDING like no other! Delighted to be bringing our fun-filled Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre to the island – big thanks to the Raasay Community Association (Comann Muinntir Ratharsair) for inviting us!

In the summer of 2015, The Walking Theatre Company brought eight professional musician-composers from Argyll together by the Music Makes Me project, each with a song inspired by life in the ‘Wild Country’. The album ‘In The Wild Country’, recorded on the shores of Loch Fyne in Strathlachlan Village Hall, is the result.
