Lismore Youth team capture the essence of the villages that were cleared. Lost homes and lost loves.

Building upon the work that we created in the rural communities of Cowal and Argyll. Each project is being developed for a specific community group and will be launched in that community. Once launched the performances are entirely transferable. Each project creates a guided walking play that will work in any landscape. Each play is sourced from historical research and tales from within the community that we are working with.  Each play creates a focussed profile event that can be used by community groups to draw people together both local and visitor and raise the profile of the area. Each play raises collective awareness of local history, the issues and the heritage that makes a community the place it is in the 21st Century. In essence we will create ‘living interactive historical theatre’.
