TWTC’s Artistic Director and In-House Playwright, Sadie Dixon-Spain, was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the Tam O’Shanter ReBoot Competition 2014 for ‘The Alloway Rap’ – a play for voices Sadie created, inspired by the great Bard‘s work ‘Tam O’Shanter’.
The play has been performed by the pupils of Kilmodan Primary School, and by Forehill Primary School who performed as part of the 2014 Alloway 1759 Celebrations! With Burns Night this weekend, why not treat yourself to a copy of ‘The Alloway Rap’ book! Available online through the Scottish Laird website:http://scottishlaird.com/?wpsc_product_category=gifts-2
