John Love

John joined TWTC in early 2014, and has performed in a number of roles for the company, the first of which was as part of our team who worked at last year’s Electric Glen event. He formed part of the team performing ‘Macbeth’s Way’ at last year’s Findhorn Arts Festival, playing the part of Macduff. He was also in London in December last year, heading up the first TWTC South team performing as Father Christmas in our ‘When Twilight Falls’ show as part of the Christmas at Kew event.
Outwith TWTC, John has performed a large number of varied roles, ranging from Sarah Kane to Shakespeare, via Wizard of Oz. He was also part of the company who performed the stage play version of ‘Still Game’ in 2012 and 2013, a show cited by both Greg Hemphill and Ford Kiernan as one of the main catalysts for their decision to bring back the popular show last year. In addition to this, he could be seen effectively being used as a human climbing frame, in a national TV Ad campaign for a well known breakfast cereal last year. He’ll also be seen (albeit briefly) in the his US Sci-fi show ‘Outlander’, due to be screened later this year, and will shortly be performing in a production of Andrew Bovell’s play ‘When The Rain Stops Falling’, at The Tron Theatre.
