Happy July, TWTC fans! What a beautiful sunny Wednesday to kickstart a new month! Rehearsals are in full swing at TWTC HQ this week, as our team prepare for their weekend adventures to the Isle of Raasay, and to the beautiful village of Glenelg!
Catch TWTC perform on the Isle of Raasay on Friday 3rd of July at 14:00hrs, for a spot of ‘Treasure Island’, and then there is set to be a ‘Conference of the Faeries’ (Midsummer Nights Dream) on Saturday 4th of July @ 12:30hrs at Glenelg Village Hall! Two fantastic shows in two brand new venues! We are EXCITED! Now, back to rehearsing!

Pitlochry Festival Theatre, situated in the picturesque surroundings of Highland Perthshire, is an internationally renowned venue, famous for hosting high quality productions and attracting a 100,000 visitors from all across the UK and abroad every year!
TWTC are delighted to be bringing two of our outdoor, interactive Walking Theatre productions – ‘The White Rabbit’s Treasure Hunt’ on the 19th of July, and ‘Macbeth’s Way’ on the 23rd of August!
We will also be bringing our Flying Kitchen events to the Tummel & Tay Festival – details announced shortly!

And despite Britain being caught in the dying thralls of Hurricane Bertha, TWTC has manned and womaned up and given our deliciously soggy best. Midsummers Nights Dream at Dunollie on Friday night was brilliant and the sturdy cast and audience were rewarded with Prosecco and cappuccino – thanks Dunollie! Today we reach Shettleston with our brilliant ‘Commonwealth Kitchen’, Alice McKerrow and Steph Falls, do what TWTC does best entertain, whatever the weather. Thanks to our amazing actors and our brilliant audiences… Tomorrow Kirkintilloch, for WWII Flying Kitchen.
Today, the air around TWTC HQ was full of the word of Shakespeare, as our fantastic acting team comprising of Karen Bartke, Rebecca Bloom, Sadie Dixon-Spain, and Colin Little, were rehearsing TWTC’s adaption of ‘Midsummer Nights Dream’, in preparation for this Friday’s performance at Dunollie. Tickets still available, so grabs yours while you can, and join Annie Fairbottom on a magical (and somewhat chaotic) Hen Party like no other!
