The Walking Theatre Company are thrilled to be heading off on tour this October to the Highlands and Islands, bringing BOTH our Walking Theatre and Murder Mystery events with us!

We still have a few dates left for our tour, and are looking to connect with venues, community trusts, village halls, promoters, hotels, restaurants, village halls, theatres…who may be interested in booking a TWTC show!

Pinch! Punch! First of the Month!

Happy July, TWTC fans! What a beautiful sunny Wednesday to kickstart a new month! Rehearsals are in full swing at TWTC HQ this week, as our team prepare for their weekend adventures to the Isle of Raasay, and to the beautiful village of Glenelg!


Catch TWTC perform on the Isle of Raasay on Friday 3rd of July at 14:00hrs, for a spot of ‘Treasure Island’, and then there is set to be a ‘Conference of the Faeries’ (Midsummer Nights Dream) on Saturday 4th of July @ 12:30hrs at Glenelg Village Hall! Two fantastic shows in two brand new venues! We are EXCITED! Now, back to rehearsing!

Join Jim ‘Lad’ Hawkins (Sadie Dixon-Spain), and the mad, bad, and slightly hairy Long John Silver (Colin Little) on an adventure across the pond, to uncover the hidden treasure…

TWTC’s first 2014 Canadian performance gets underway tonight, as Sadie Dixon-Spain and Colin Little perform “S’misa MacBeth” at the Open Stage evening to open the Symposium of Performing Arts in Rural Communities (SPARC) !


We can’t wait to share our unique brand of interactive Scottish Walking Theatre with our Canadian performing arts colleagues!

Breaking News! We’re ‘Walking’ to Canada!

TWTC are thrilled to announce we are heading back to Canada!

We have been invited to present and perform at the inaugural Symposium for Performing Arts in Rural Communities (SPARC), hosted in the Haliburton Highlands, Ontario, about 3 hours North of Toronto. TWTC’s Artistic Director and In-House Playwright, Sadie Dixon-Spain, will be accompanied by Core Company Actor, Colin Little, and our Canadian Walking Youth Theatre Project coordinator, Nancy Kovachik, to attend the four day event, to learn about the arts in rural Canada, to network with some fantastic performing arts professionals from all over Canada, to present “Theatre Without Walls: The Story From Scotland”, and to perform three conference shorts over the weekends events.
